Lou Holtz
2010 Fundraiser - Raffle Tickets
Kevin Braig, a successful attorney from Bellefontaine, Ohio, is shown with a limited edition photograph of Coaches Lou Holtz and Brian Kelly taken outside the new Subway Entrance to the Lou Holtz/Upper Ohio Valley Hall of Fame. A drawing will take place at noon Dec. 13 for the 11x14 framed photo, which will be autographed by both Holtz and Kelly. Only 200 tickets will be sold at $50 each and the winner need not be present. Tickets are available at the Hall of Fame. The picture, which commemorates the renewal of the Notre Dame vs. Army game at Yankee Stadium on Nov. 20, is copyright protected and will not be reproduced. Braig, who created the Ohio High School Football Forum in 1998, is considered a pioneer in reporting games via the computer. He canvassed the State every weekend in the fall for a number of years, reporting major contests, stats and playoff outcomes. While several other Ohio High School Football sites have since been developed on a full-time basis, including the well-known "JJ Huddle," Braig regularly shows up to observe games in all four corners of Ohio. The raffle proceeds will benefit the construction of the new, handicapped accessible entry, where a chair-lift is to be installed.
